Grand Junction, CO — Helping community members protect their future is more than just a job for Carma Brown, it’s a way of life. A Home Loan Insurance/Nationwide agent for 18+ years, Brown has dedicated her career to counseling customers on their personal insurance needs, providing them with security for the people and things they value most – their loved ones, their homes and their businesses.

Brown dedicates much of her time to a number of organizations around the community, but Challenger Baseball is her true passion. Challenger Baseball is a Little League for physical and/or mental disabled individuals that Brown started in Mesa County 17 years ago. Her involvement with this organization earned her the 2016 Regional Community Service Award from Nationwide Insurance. The region in which Brown has won the award includes the following states: Colorado, Utah, Montana, Wyoming, New Mexico, Arizona, and Texas.

Challenger Baseball will receive a $500 donation from Nationwide Insurance. Brown will also be featured on a Wall of Fame in the Nationwide corporate office in Columbus, OH.

Carma Brown consistently drives for results and represents the true nature of Nationwide’s most elite performers. She puts the customer at the heart of the business, challenging herself and those around her to deliver the On Your Side® personalized customer experience each and every day.
